THIS WEEK'S OUTFIT...

wish list

Cecilie Copenhagen shirt / Zara skirt / Jane Konig necklace / Balenciaga city / Mango shoes

I'm totally in love with Cecilie Copenhagen's designs made from Keffiyeh scarves and this colour is just so beautiful. Would wear it with leather trousers or a maxi skirt like this one. I'm still wishing for a Balenciaga city or velo and that Jane Konig necklace engraved with an A for Adam. The pointy flats from Mango has been sold out for a while, but still hoping they will come back in stock.

THE BABYLONIA BB-SLING...

This review is long overdue, but better late than never... Before the review I want to let you know that this is my honest opinion and I wouldn't do a review on something I don't love. I was given a BB-sling in Grey Violet by Babylonia, but loved the sling so much that we bought the Black Beans ourselves too, which fit almost all my outfits - and we still want to look cute, when babywearing...

The sling is made from 100% organic cotton made in a fair trade project in India. The fabric is soft yet gives optimal support, when carrying your baby. We've only been wearing Adam in the Cradle and Heart to Heart position with his legs tugged into the fabric, but we're soon going to do the heart to heart with his legs outside, the Hip and the Buddha, where he faces the world. The sling really is versatile and we really love ours. You can be babywearing until baby is 3-4 years old, and I can't wait to be babywearing Adam next spring and summer, since I mostly use it at home now that it's colder out.

We have been using our BB-sling since Adam was born (I even brought him home from hospital in it), and we could now not live without it. When he is upset or fussy or if he can't fall asleep, we'll be wearing him and he literally falls asleep within minutes. I also always bring it, when I go for walks with him in his pushchair, in case he gets fussy or just want to be near me, and it has been helpful loads of times, when we go shopping. It's also perfect for travelling and we're definitely bringing ours with us, when we are going to Denmark on holiday next month.

If you are thinking about babywearing then you should go for it. We really love it and I've never heard of anyone, who didn't. I especially like this one, since it's

- Easy to bring in your bag as it doesn't take up more room than a big scarf
- Baby will calm down within minutes, since he feels close to you
- Baby is sitting in a M position, which stimulates development of baby's hips
- It's made from 100 % organic cotton
- You can wear your baby in many different positions
- It's a cute little accessory
- You'll get super many aww's, when you are out and about (I sure have)

Babylonia also produces other kinds of slings like the Tricot-slen, which I'm thinking about trying out too.  They are each €65 online and you'll also find them in John Lewis at £55. Visit Babylonia HERE

THIS WEEK'S OUTFIT..

wishlist
Top Zara / Scarf LaLa Berlin / Skirt Zara / Watch Michael Kors / Bracelet Claire Anastasia / Sneakers Adidas

A couple of days ago I posted about, which sneakers to get and one of my favourite (affordable) pair were these grey suede adidas. I'd love to wear them with a ladylike outfit like this to keep it casual but still chic. There's a watch on this week's wish list too - I really need one soon, but I might need some help deciding, so will put all my favourites in a post soon. I'm still also really loving grey - it's just such a beautiful colour.

WINTER'S WARMEST SWEATER...

It seems like winter is really here...Today Adam and I are staying in - it's pouring down in London town like crazy, so we're enjoying a totally relaxing day at home with lit candles, coffee and newly baked bread (or at least mummy is enjoying it). Adam is taking a nap so I though I'd do a bit of blogging...
I was overjoyed, when I found this mohair and wool sweater in H&M - it's the perfect oversized and super warm sweater for winter - love the dark grey and it's not so long that you can't pair it with a cute maxi skirt too without looking buried in clothing (yeah I know that's the trend, but it just doesn't do anything for anyone at least over 1.75 meter - the rest of us will kind of look like small hobbits...)
I just saw that it's sold out online, but you might still be able to find it in store in the trend section.
